The President/District Director or designee shall ensure that the College has and implements a broad-based, comprehensive, systematic, and integrated system of planning that involves appropriate segments of the College Community and is supported by institutional effectiveness data.
The planning system shall include plans required by law, including, but not limited to:
Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Five-Year Plan
Strategic Plan
Facility Master Plan (Three-Year Facilities Plan)
Annual Budget Plan
The President/District Director shall submit plans to the District Board for information or approval.
The President/District Director shall inform the District Board about the status of planning and the various plans.
The President/District Director shall ensure the District Board has an opportunity to assist in developing the general institutional mission and goals for the comprehensive plans.
The planning system includes or addresses the following:
Processes for developing, reviewing, updating, and implementing plans.
The committees and personnel involved, as well as their responsibilities and charges.
Required approvals.
Integration of various planning efforts.
Use of institutional effectiveness data.
