The President/District Director shall establish procedures to ensure that the College’s fiscal management is per Wisconsin Administrative Code TCS 7, including:
Adequate internal controls exist.
Fiscal objectives, procedures, and constraints are communicated to the District Board and Employees.
Adjustments to the budget are made on time when necessary.
The management information system provides timely, accurate, and reliable fiscal information.
Responsibility and accountability for fiscal management are delineated.
The President/District Director shall also establish procedures that satisfy the most current edition of U.S. Education Department General Administrative Regulations (EDGAR) for any Federal funds the College receives.
The books and records of the College shall be maintained according to the Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) Financial Accounting Manual (FAM).
The President/District Director will present a report showing the financial and budgetary conditions of the College to the District Board no less than quarterly.
