The President/District Director oversees the District's participation in the collective bargaining process, as Chapter 111 – Employment Relations of the Wisconsin Statutes requires.
When the collective bargaining process with a representative of most of its Employees in an appropriate collective bargaining unit ensues, the President/District Director will work with the District Board to do the following:
Convey appropriate authority to the College’s negotiator to bargain to reach an agreement concerning wages for the Employees in the collective bargaining unit.
Act on a collective bargaining agreement recommended for ratification by the College’s negotiator at a public meeting of the District Board.
