Possessing or consuming alcoholic beverages on College Premises is prohibited. To protect the rights of all concerned, all Employees are responsible for carrying out this Policy.

 

This Policy does not pertain to Culinary Arts/Food Service programs where alcohol is used in food preparation, nor does it apply to field sobriety testing conducted in the Police Science program, Police Recruit Training, and Police In-Service training.

 

Waivers to this Policy for special events held on campus can be approved by the President/District Director or designee on a case-by-case basis. Requests for a waiver must be in writing and received six (6) weeks before the event. The waiver would only permit serving beer or wine at College Premises to college-affiliated groups or outside organizations. Sponsoring groups will be responsible for being aware of and adhering to all applicable state laws, municipal ordinances, and college policies and procedures. Organizations sponsoring an event will assume responsibility for damages to the facility and indemnify the College for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from serving beer or wine.

 

Under no circumstances is alcohol to be served at Student events.
