J-600.2 – University Center – Coordination of Pathway Agreements

The College incorporates Student transfer to baccalaureate-level institutions as part of its mission by establishing partnerships, pathways, services, and facilities that promote successful degree completion beyond the associate level.

The College will maintain a University Center to facilitate the development of transfer pathways, articulation agreements, advising coordination, and engagement with partner institutions in support of Student goal attainment.

TIERED PARTNERSHIP MODEL

The College will organize transfer partnerships using a tiered partnership structure. Partnership tiers define the level of collaboration, visibility, and engagement between the College and partner institutions while allowing flexibility to meet Student and institutional needs.

The tiered structure supports:

  • Clear expectations for institutional partnerships.
  • Scalable engagement is based on program alignment and Student demand.
  • Consistent access to transfer information for all Students.

Specific roles, responsibilities, benefits, and operational expectations associated with each partnership tier will be defined in College standard operating processes and reflected in memoranda of understanding documentation between the College and partnership institutions.
