The College commits to maintaining the highest standards for Student and Employee safety and health. In addition, employing high-quality employees is of the utmost importance due to the impact on college operations and the quality of our services. Accordingly, the District Board has directed the President/District Director to enact procedures to ensure that the College recruits and employs the best available individuals for positions at the College.

 

The Human Resources Department is responsible for conducting pre-employment criminal charge and conviction records checks on all final candidates for employment and on all full—and part-time college Employees.

 

Caregiver background checks will also be performed on all applicable Employees (e.g., Health Sciences, Public Safety, and Early Childhood Education).

 

Employees must notify the College promptly of any criminal charges or convictions during their employment here.
